Location of Parish Church and Rectory
The entries in the online marriage, baptism and death registers of Holy Cross (Lithuanian) RC parish start in July 1904 and go through the end of 1925.
- CHURCH LOCATION 1905-1915. From November 12, 1905 until September 15, 1915, the religious services of Holy Cross (Lithuanian) RC parish were conducted in the parish church located at ________________. (location needed, with source) An article in the May-June 1995 issue of Lithuanian Heritage magazine says that the cornerstone of the first church of Holy Cross (Lithuanian) RC parish was blessed on December 18, 1904, and that the church was dedicated on November 12, 1905.
- CHURCH LOCATION 1915-Present. From September 15, 1915, the religious services of Holy Cross (Lithuanian) RC parish were conducted in the parish church located at the northwest corner of West 46th Street and South Hermitage Avenue. (The church main entrance was/ is on 46th Street.) This neighborhood of Chicago was known as "Town of Lake", and also as "Back of The Yards". The church is still at that location, but the parish is no longer a "Lithuanian" parish. An article in the May-June 1995 issue of Lithuanian Heritage magazine says that the cornerstone of this church was blessed on October 26, 1913, and that the church was dedicated on September 15, 1915.
- RECTORY LOCATION 1909-19__. The rectory was located at (4557 South Wood Street?).
- LOCATION OF 1904-1905 PARISH RELIGIOUS SERVICES PRIOR TO PARISH CHURCH. From July 1904 until the first parish church was dedicated on November 12, 1905, the parish services were held at ... (location needed, with source)

The FamilySearch.org list of records for "Holy Cross Parish (Chicago: Wood St) includes several "almost duplicate" sets of records that differ primarily in that they are single-page views vs. side-by-side page views of the register.
